Objective: 25,000 to/year tyre recycling facility
History
- On 23 May 2006, the Principal invited interested parties to submit a project proposal within the context of the Programme for Cooperation with Emerging Markets (PSOM) of The Netherlands Ministries of Foreign Affairs (Development Cooperation) and Economic Affairs
- On 14 December 2006, PSOM contract was signed
- On 20 April 2007 legally “appearance” of the recipient
- On 15 June 2008 equipment supply contract was signed
- On 10 May 2009 first tyre shredded (main project)
- On 25 July 2009 start – up of granulate facility (parallel project)
- On 25 July 2009 start – up of granulate facility (parallel project)
Status
- PSOM project in final stage – certification of production level and benefits
- Parallel project – finalized
- Facilities for rubber crumb products – in 3rd year of production
